Qualitative Real-Time PCR Detection of Delta, Epsilon and Kappa Variants of SARS-CoV-2
The kit is used in qualitative detection of the mutations of L452R, E484Q, and P681R is S gene of SARS-CoV-2 in anterior nasal / nasopharyngeal / oropharyngeal swab, broncho alveolar lavage fluids, sputum specimens.
Through identification of target genes, this kit provides a supporting information for detection and differentiation of suspected respiratory case. The test results are only used as clinical reference, rather than the standard for clinical diagnosis and treatment. It
Based on allele refractory mutation qPCR system (ARMS-qPCR), the kit qualitatively detects mutations . For L452R, E484Q and P681R of SARS-CoV-2, sequence-specific primers and fluorescent probes were designed for variant strain, respectively. ARMS primers can specifically identify variant strain using different fluorescent bands, enabling to differentiate mutant strains (L452R, E484Q and P681R) from wild strain for each specimen in a single run.
