It's recommended by the Tissue Culture Association for supporting HeLa cells. BME supports the growth of various cell lines, including HeLa, L-cells, and mammalian fibroblasts. It's a predecessor to MEM and D-MEM, offering essential components for cell growth.
This formulation comes with Earle's Salt and without L-Glutamine.
