This kit is used for qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid by targetting ORF1ab, N and E genes of the viral RNA. The E gene is pan-Sarbecovirus marker, and can serve to screen for presence of other related viruses in the same subgenus.

Endegenous IC: When handling numerous samples daily, every step reduction counts! This kit help to reduces one pipetting step during sample preparation by using human RNaseP gene as Internal Control (Endegenous IC). This is suitable for monitoring entire workflow from sampling to detection.

Fast Detection: This kit uses one-step RT-qPCT method that has been especially optimized to take between 30 to 50 minutes depending on model of real time PCR machine used. This is achieved by using reagent components that is capable for fast cycling.

Evaluation has been done to ensure fast detection without sacrificing accuracy, the kit's positive percentage agreement is 99.18% and negative percentage agreement is at 100%. Validated Limit of Detection is at 200 copies/ml.
