Qualitative Real-Time PCR Detection of SARS-CoV-2 Mutations
The kit is used in qualitative detection of the mutations of N501Y, HV69-70del, K417N, K417T, and E484K in S gene of SARS-CoV-2 in B.1.1.7 lineage, B.1.1.28 lineage, B.1.351 lineage, B.1.525 lineage, and P3 lineage of SARS-CoV-2 in anterior nasal / nasopharyngeal / oropharyngeal swab, broncho alveolar lavage fluids, sputum specimens.
Through identification of target genes, this kit provides a supporting information for detection and differentiation of suspected respiratory case. The test results are only used as clinical reference, rather than the standard for clinical diagnosis and treatment. It
Based on allele refractory mutation qPCR system (ARMS-qPCR), the kit qualitatively detects mutations . For K417T, N501Y, K417N, HV69-70del, and E484K of SARS-CoV-2, sequence-specific primers and fluorescent probes were designed for variant strain, respectively. ARMS primers can specifically identify variant strain using different fluorescent bands, enabling to differentiate mutant strains (K417T, N501Y, K417N, HV69-70del, and E484K) from wild strain for each specimen in a single run.
