Biologists today has spent too much time pipetting by hand. Opentrons started with a team that wants to make robots for biologists because they think biologist should be able to spend time designing experiments and analyzing data, pursuing answers of the 21st century's most important questions while having robots to do pipetting for them. Their mission is essentially to provide the scientific community with a common platform to easily share protocols and reproduce each other's results.
